Genesis

This is my first post, so I will take the opportunity to explain the purpose of this blog.

I started this blog so that I could to express my love for photography by sharing what I believe is interesting and hopefully encourage others to keep on shooting.

You may ask why I called this blog "Fast Fifty Photo"; well the reason is because my favourite lens is a 50mm F/1.4. I have owned a 50mm lens for years, but I only really appreciated this lens after I started using a full frame digital SLR where 50mm is really 50mm. Anyway I am a big fan of shooting at this angle of view with a shallow depth of field.
